Director, Regulatory Administration

Mr. Kokofele graduated with a Bachelor of Science Degree
in Education with double Majors in Economic from Njala University College,
University of Sierra Leone. Mr. Kokofele also holds a Master Degree in
Agricultural Economics (MSc. Agric. Econs.) from the Njala University.

Before his appointment as Director of Regulatory Administration, 

Mr. Smart I.B. Kokofele was the Deputy Director Corporate and Industry Affairs of the Commission.

Before joining NATCOM, Mr. Kokofele had over two decades work experience in Education and in the Security sector of Sierra Leone. During his journey in the Security sector, he acquired certificates in Threats to Human Security from the Institute for Security Studies(ISS) in Addis Ababa, Election Security Expert from Kofi Annan International Peace Training Center (KAIPTC) in Accra, Enhancing Cyber Security for Least Developed Countries and also acquired several other Certificates in courses relating to Human Rights and Drug Policy, Lagon, Ghana, Executive leadership from SUMMIT Institute for Leadership in Pretoria South Africa and Election Violence and Security Trainer of Trainer Course in the Kofi Anan Institute of Peace and Security Studies, Accra Ghana.

 

Mr. Kokofele provides strategic leadership, direction and support in formulating strategies and policies with the view to provide safeguard mechanisms to promote a positive image of the Commission to its stakeholders.
