Mr. Ishmael Sonkoi Kamara is the Deputy Director of Internal Audit and Risk Management of the Commission.

Mr. Kamara holds a BSC Degree in Accounting/Finance and a Master’s Degree in Business Administration from the University of Sierra Leone. He is a member of the Institute of Internal Auditors (Ghana)

Mr. Kamara is a hardworking and unassuming Financial Analyst with over 15 years of experience in financial management and audit. Mr. Kamara ensures the viability and completion of assignments with good judgment; initiative, high sense of responsibility, organization, negotiating and analytical skills in his financial management and audit work.

His professional experience is exemplary, as he has acquired various certificates at home and abroad through professional development in his area of specialty and management. 

Mr. Kamara provides support and leadership in-Financial management and Audit of the Commission.
