Newly appointed Deputy Minister of Information and Communications Visits NATCOM
The newly appointed deputy of Minister of Information and Communications, Madam Mamadi Gobeh- Kamara, has on the 24th June 2019 visited the head office of the National Telecommunications Commission on a familiarization tour.

In his welcoming statement, the Director -General (DG) of the Commission Maxwell Hinga Massaquoi, thanked the Honourable Minster and her entourage for the visit.
Briefing the Minister, the DG described the job at the Commission as tasking, but said he had a formidable team comprising personnel with the requisite expertise and experience to handle the challenges in the sector.
He described the focus of the Commission as one geared towards moving the industry forward as well as matching up with other regulators in the sub region.
The Minister, in her response, said the visit was a familiarization tour designed to abreast herself with sectors under the supervision of her ministry.
“NATCOM is a very key institution and we want to see things get better than they were, I have said to the DG and several people that I know around here, that you guys have a good team at NATCOM” the Minister stated.
She went on the assure the Management of her commitment and support ,adding that her office would always be accessible to the Commission.
