Mr. Amara Brewah is the Director General of the Authority. He holds a Master’s Degree in Health Care Informatics and a Bachelor of Science Degree in Management Information Systems from the University of Wisconsin, Milwaukee (USA).

He has approximately 23 years of experience in the IT industry with extensive skills in hardware, software, and delivering excellent customer service.

Before becoming Director-General, he served as Deputy Director-General, providing leadership, advice, and direction on ICT-related matters. He led engagement with internal and external stakeholders on ICT issues and promoted efficient, cost-effective service delivery.
