Mr. Ibrahim Dumbuya holds a Master’s Degree in Business Administration (Executive), a Bachelor of Science degree in Applied Accounting and a Diploma in Applied Accounting; all from the Institute of Public Administration and Management. 

Mr. Dumbuya also holds several other certificates including Proficiency in Public Procurement Management; Sage 50 Accounting Professional and Sage Pastel Payroll; Building Resources in Democracy, Governance and Elections (BRIDGE); Public Sector Strategic and Financial Management.

Mr. Dumbuya has over 20 years of progressive working experience in financial management and accounting, cash flow management, management of grants, public sector financial management, administration, budgeting and public procurement.

He has also served in various capacities within the field of Finance and Accounting where he managed financial performance, driving radical growth, designing highly efficient reporting systems, optimizing staff performance and building the financial infrastructure of institutions. Mr. Dumbuya supervises the day to day administration of the department and ensures the prudent management of the Commission’s resources. He contributes to the strategic operationalization of the Commission and provides leadership for his team members in the Finance Department.
